Over the past decade, we have witnessed a dramatic transformation of the global porn industry. From Internet piracy and plummeting profits to mainstream media discussions of feminist and queer pornography to the growing popularity of adult web-camming, the tilt of power within the porn industry has shifted.

Join professor and author Lynn Comella and Australian performer and scholar Zahra Stardust for a wide-ranging discussion about the past, present, and future of pornography as they explore issues of sexual labor, law, and content in the digital age.

Lynn Comella, Ph.D. is an associate professor of gender and sexuality studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is the author of Vibrator Nation: How Feminist Sex-Toy Stores Changed the Business of Pleasure and co-editor of New Views on Pornography: Sexuality, Politics, and the Law.

Zahra Stardust is a Penthouse Pet and Hustler Honey writing her PhD on feminist porn in Australia. She was a Feminist Porn Awards Heartthrob of the Year, Eros Shine Awards Best Adult Star and Adult Industry Awards Best Porn Actress. Her writing is published in books such as Queer Sex Work, the DIY Porn Handbook and Coming Out Like a Porn Star.
